Pro-active Sla Assurance for next Generation Network

The telecom market is evolving towards services. The arrival of next generation networks with a new generation of service and market deregulation have led to the emergence of many new service providers for whom Service Level Agreement (SLA) management is a key differentiator. Service provider differentiation will depend largely on the reliability of their SLA management and monitoring, and the resulting increase in the customer trust. The operators have to guarantee their SLA commitments not only by detecting SLA violations once occurred but further by anticipating these violations to trigger the appropriate preventing actions. This paper discusses about the global process of SLA violation prediction and anticipation that is generally called pro-active SLA assurance.
